I came across Viktor Vauthier's work when a recent editorial he did with Kim Noorda for Tank Magazine caught my eye (first two shots). The feel of the shoot had an honesty to it that I found intriguing. His style isn't radically different from a lot the raw photography we see so much of in fashion these days. Still his work stands out to me. His bio on Vimeo states he shoots on 35mm and doesn't use elaborate lighting or any airbrushing. His blog is a hipster Tumblr's dream, filled with gritty, sexy, youthful street shots. "Voyeuristic and addictive" is how his bio describes his images. I very much agree.
